Materials:
Spritz bottle (I use mini bottles from Ranger)
Rit Dye Powder or Liquid
Page protector, projector sheet, or recycled plastic
Something to dye. Example: paper, shirt, apron
To make a template you need a sheet of plastic. I used a page protector. You could also use a projector sheet or recycle a piece of plastic from some packaging. There is many ways to make your template. You could trace a design onto the sheet, then cut it out. I used my Cricut Expression to cut out the butterfly shape. Punches or other shape cutting tools would also work.
To make the spray, mix hot water with the Rit dye. You can make it weak or strong as you like. Pour into spray bottle. Test colors on scratch paper and adjust color by adding more water or dye.
Just a note: the handmade roses in the project picture will be available in my Shop soon.

This is a fun idea Brandy, thanks for sharing! I wonder if you mixed a fine glitter in if it would give the same effect of glimmer mists?
