Merry Felt Christmas gift card Holder

Hello Everyone Happy Holidays! I am very thrilled to be part of Joli-paquet again! Thank you girls for having me! Every year I give out gift cards and don't know how to wrap them.. So I came up with a little holder to hold them in, you can also use them to tuck sweet notes to a loved one... Lets begin....

Materials you will need: 1 piece of red felt measuring 6 1/2 x 4 inches and 1 piece measuring 3x3, white faux fur fabric cut in a triangle 2 1/2 inches tall, 1 foam silver glittered star, printed Christmas text ribbon, aqua pom pom trim, aqua vintage seam binding, white and gold trim and white thread

You can use either a sewing machine or you can sew it by hand and a pair of scallop edge scissors

Step 1: cut the pieces of felt with scallop edge scissors

Step 2: sew the 3x3 piece of felt as shown, like a little pocket
Step 3: On the front cover sew the faux fur triangle
Step 4: Sew the printed text ribbon on the bottom of Christmas triangle

Step 5: Sew the gold and white trim at the bottom of tree and sew the pom pom trim at the bottom of front cover

Step 6: Cut the aqua seam binding in two 9 inch pieces, then sew them to the middle of inside of the covers for your closure

The Last step is to sew the foam silver star at the top of the Tree....
Now you have a little money holder, a gift card holder or a sweet Christmas note holder!
Wishing everyone a Stress free Holiday Season and a Merry Little Christmas! xoxo-Lilia
